• Master Association December meeting action items
The Master Association November action items were ratified during the December meeting. The following are the results of those action items:
- Steve Hodge discussed the procedure for handling delinquency of homeowners/property owners in paying assessments. First, ten-day letters are sent out. If no response is received within ten days, a lien will be placed on the property. Interest will be charged on the unpaid balance from January 1st at eighteen percent per month, beginning thirty days after the due date.
- William Robertson presented the new “Reserve Study” which had been requested of him to include the cost of dredging the lake. His study was accepted with the balance in the Reserve Fund to be amended as of January, 2006.

Steve Hodge presented the budget for 2006. The decision was unanimously approved to increase dues by ten percent ($60) for 2006, to be earmarked entirely for capital improvement.

An “Executive Session” was requested and was held after the regular meeting. (The business of an “Executive Session” is of a sensitive nature and may not be published.)
• Pot Luck Dinner - The Pot Luck Group dinner will be held on Sunday, January 15th, at 6:00 PM at the Lake House. Rick & Janet Taylor and David & Shirley Calhoun will be the hosts. To carry out the Soup Kitchen theme, there will be plenty of Hearty Soups to warm you on a cold winter night. The hosts ask that you bring either hors d’oeuvre, bread/crackers/corn bread, salads, or desserts. Soft drinks and tea will be provided; BYOB if you would like an “adult beverage” before or during dinner. Please RSVP NLT Wednesday, January 11thto Janet (884-2583) or Shirley (884-9228) to make your reservation and coordinate your proposed dish.
• Couples Bridge - Couples Bridge, hosted by Steve and Bonnie Clark, will be held on January 27th at 7:00 PM at the Lake House.
• Women’s Book Club - Sue Macoy will lead the discussion of “My Old True Love” by Sheila Kay Adams when the Women’s Book Club meets on Monday, January 16th, at the Lake House.
• Market Street Update - Poppies is still planning to open sometime in mid-March or early April. Expect some interesting details in next month’s newsletter.
