Straus Park's 2nd Annual Fun Gimmick Car Rallye

We'll meet at the Lakehouse at 1:30pm, Saturday October 21 - (Sunday, October 22 if Saturday is foggy or rainy)

                 Over the next 3 hours teams will follow directions for winding their way throughout Transylvania County,

Collecting Answers to a FEW Scavenger Questions and Transylvania Trivia

And Meeting at a Mystery Destination for Supper and Prizes.

Plan on staying through the evening!

All Straus Park owners and guests are eligible to participate at no cost!

Note: This is a fun gimmick rallye - NO prior experience with road rallyes is required.

This is about fun and beauty, not about speed and distance calculations

You will want to have:

a car with a full tank of gas and a working odometer

A Team (1 Driver and at least 1 navigator per car)

A second team of 1-2 "navigators" may ride in a car

A clipboard and a pen

            Consider bringing binoculars, cell phone, driving music

We will provide:

          Directions, Scavenger Questions, Trivia Questions,

Supper, Prizes,

and a bail-out envelope

so you can join us, even if you get lost :)
